A recent report shows that the most expensive rent in NC is in the Queen City! According to an article on WSOCTV.com uptown residents who rent an apartment are paying more than any other neighborhood in the state.

Uptown ranked the most expensive, with average monthly rent at $1,600.
Dilworth and South End came in second, where residents are paying around $1,400 a month in rent.
In third place, the Elizabeth neighborhood with rent also in the $1,400 range.
